Living my dream
Where I live now its just like a dream to me...I never thought I would be living in such a fine area with such pretty surroundings...I have a nice view of the lagoon that is just full of trout, flounder, and other edible fish.....I'm a 15 minute drive from the big fish, 5 minutes from shopping and dining, yet its very quiet here with very few sirens and horns....This must be the dove capital of the world since the birds thrive here with no hunting allowed in city limits...one of my neighbors is Mr Whetstone(ex-district attourney that use to send me letters years ago) ...Hes a nice guy.
In the mornings I wake up and get dressed(sometimes) and walk out on the upper deck for some cool fresh air and a quick view of the water. Its very inspiring to me to see the water and know I have it so close...I usually go back to the bed then gently wake the wife and tell her its another beautiful morning in our home in Gulf Shores alabama...it still seems strange saying that but its true now and my dream is a reality...Its really nice to cook my eggs and bacon whil looking out the back window to see the oleanders and palms swaying to a light seabreeze...I'm so thankful for what we have now and if this is a dream please dont wake me up.
Thats my B.S. for the day.
