Asian Carp: Mich. Vows to Fight Despite Ruling
Folks this is just the beginning of a bunch of bull shit Government strategies that will really mess up our water ways and cost us big bucks in the long run to clean up there mess after they f@$% up our waters with these invasive fish.
CHICAGO (AP) - Michigan authorities say they'll keep fighting to stop the Asian carp despite another U.S. Supreme Court ruling going against them.
The justices on Monday turned down a second Michigan request to immediately close Chicago-area shipping locks to prevent the invasive fish from infesting the Great Lakes.
Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox says he's disappointed in that ruling. In addition to continued legal action, Cox is repeating his calls for President Barack Obama to take steps to temporarily close the locks.
Asian carp have been migrating toward the Great Lakes and swarming waterways leading to Lake Michigan. If Asian carp reach the lakes, scientists fear they'll disrupt the food chain, and endanger the region's multibillion-dollar fishing and boating industry.

I completely agree with you, Mike. I sure hope they can get the help needed to shut the docks and possibly permanently, unless they get the Asian Carp population under control here.

If these fish get into the Great Lakes, the lakes we fish with a matter of time (very short time) will be infested with these fish.
